This necklace is a one of a kind designed and crafted in the Summer of 2003 in cooperation with Tomoko Tawara of Craft Studio Roots in Kyoto, Japan. This necklace is unique in all its parts and is made from parts of all over the world. The cord is hand woven of Polish descent. Brown disc colored beads and white cylindrical fish bone beads are from Indonesia. The hand woven cord is light and very flexible for a loose and casual fit. The mahjong tile has a character engraved in red meaning "center" and lies just above the heart when worn.
